Natec Trots Out Genesis TX77 For Serious Android Gamers

Love Android and gaming? Well, Natec has just rolled out Genesis TX77, a gaming console with quad core processor that runs Android operating system. It has real physical buttons on either sides of display which gives you PSP Portable-like experience.

The Specs of Natec include quad core Rockchip RK3188 1.6 GHz processor, quad core Mali 400-MP4 graphics, 1 gigabytes of RAM, and 8 GB flash storage that can be expanded by micro SD card slot. 

The Natec Genesis TX77 is priced very aggressively. It will hit the market shelves in 2nd week of this month (Dec, 2013) with a price tag of just PLN 599 ($196). It measures 237 x 121 x 13 mm and weighs 348 grams.

Full HD TSUKUMO N1540 Laptop with GT 745M

Japanese brand, TSUKUMO has churned out Nvidia GeForce GT 745M equipped 15.6 inch laptop. Called the N1540, it features full HD display, 500GB hard disk drive, Intel Core i5 4200M 2.5 GHz processor, 4 gigabytes of RAM, and as said earlier, a GeForce GT 745M GPU.

Choice of operating systems include Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Ports include SD card slot, USB 3.0 × 2, USB 2.0 × 2, IEEE 802.11b/g/n compatible wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI output, mini D-Sub15 pin, Gigabit Ethernet, 720p-enabled Web camera, audio input and output jack.

Despite all that horsepower, the TSUKUMO N1540 manages to yield battery runtimes between 2.5 to 3.1 hours. It measures 388 × 265 × 25.3mm, and weighs 2.1 kilograms.

Intel SoFIA, Broxton Atom Processor Release Date

Intel has announced two new processors – first is SoFIA (codename), and its release date is sometime next year. The second one is Braxton, which is slated to be released in 2015. SoFIA will be introduced in H2 2014, and it is based on the Atom processor. It will feature integrated 3G radio, while will allow laptop manufactures to offer low-powered tablets and thin laptops with built in 3G connectivity.

Specs include Core i7-4770 (3.4GHz), GeForce GTX 780 Ti (3GB) video card, Intel Z87 Express chipset, 8GB memory, 1TB HDD, DVD Super Multi drive, Windows 8.1  64bit operating system. Price is 189,840 yen, but if you go the higher model that costs 199,500 yen, you will get an extra 128GB SSD to spend up the system.

Epson Endeavor NJ3900E Launched

Epson Direct Corporation has launched a 15.6 inch laptop computer called Endeavor NJ3900E. Prices start at 66,150 Yen ($640) for the starting configuration. Specs include 15.6 inch screen, 1366×768 pixel resolution, Intel Celeron 2950M processor, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 250GB hard disk drive, DVD ROM drive, and windows 8.1 64 bit operating system.

Port and connectivity include 2x USB 3.0 ports, 2x USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, SDXC card slot, webcam, headphone / microphone jack, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and TPM security chip. Battery life is said be 6.6 hours, but with the optional full HD display, it gets reduced to 5.6 hours.
