Early today, we posted the review of Flappy Bird where we mentioned that it is already available for iOS and Android but not for Windows Phone.
A popular third party developer, Coding For Fun has made an exact replica of Flappy game and is already available in the WP store. The game play and graphics are both same as the original game. Yes, the developer has been a little clear and he has made the night and tubes look different to avoid any problem. Also, the real one has much harder levels. You can download it from here.
That said, the official version is on the verge of hitting the windows phone marketplace. The developer is working on it and would be released soon. Until then, you can enjoy its clone that is mentioned above and many others that include Birdy Flap, Paddle Fish, FlappyFish, and Jolly Fish. All of them are free except Paddle Fish that costs a dollar. Read our flappy bird review here.

Whether you like it or not, anything that gets too popular these days get cloned within few days – sometimes within few hours. However, the developer of original game has confirmed these look alikes do not do any harm. After all, would you want to play with rip offs or real ones?
Do you own a Samsung Galaxy S4 but hate Touch Wiz so much that want to get rid of it? Well, even if you install a custom home launcher, you still would not be able to totally get rid of atrocious touch wiz. The only way is to install a Google Edition firmware. On top of icing, it is using Android 4.4 base.
Get it from here and put it into storage card. Then boot into recovery. Then, wipe the data and cache. Reboot the phone.
The best thing about this ROM is that there are no bugs at all, at least as claimed by its developer.
The IR blaster app is not included so, download IR remote app from playstore. Here is the link. Also the S-view cover would not let you answer calls with the flap closed. This is actually Samsung’s fault as they have not included this functionality in Google edition Galaxy S4.
Other than that, everything is working out of the box, including TV out (MHL) functionality. Watch On, however, would not work.
I learnt about the Flappy Bird few days ago, when I was looking through the Best Vines Facebook page. Since Vine informed me about it, I thought it must be something. Millions are downloading this game to their iPhone and iPads everyday. The game is also available for Android phones and tablets. I tested it on my Kiano Elegance 9.7” 3G and it ran just fine.
The performance of the game is top notch, irrespective of the platform you use. For instance, my Kiano Elegance 9.7” 3G has a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, 1 GB of RAM and quad core Rockchip RK3188 with clock frequency of 1.6GHz. You can find the review of the tablet here, in case you are curious about it.

You control a bird in a very simple way – by touching the screen which will make it jump. But soon, it will begin to fall down. We must, therefore control the bird in a certain way in order to maintain or adjust the height. It should keep the spacing between successive barriers.
Here is a video proof that it is not that awkard to play on an iPad.
You can download the game from here. The game is available for free on iOS, Android, and will soon made available on Windows Phone. It takes only 800 KB, so it should fit on the smartphones of all generations.
