Allview a Romanian manufacture has released AllView X2 Soul which is an Android smartphone. Priced at 333 Euros the Allview X2 Soul will hit market shelves on June 10 in black color. If you are interested in white, then you will have to wait for five more days.

There is no word on the Android version it runs but its Chinese variant runs v4.2 jelly bean at the time of this post.

Asus has released an updated version of Transformer Book T100 with Intel Atom Z3775 processor for 399 dollars. The new chipset runs at 1.47GHz which makes it faster than the outgoing model whose Z3740 CPU runs at 1.33GHz.

Even though the CPU upgrade will not transform (no pun intended) into a gaming machine, it should offer decent performance bump. The new model will cost about 399 dollars as mentioned earlier.

The last year model, T100 with Z3740 can now be bought at much lower prices. Adorama is already taking preorders of the new model. You can choose between two colors – white or red.

Other specifications include 2GB of main memory, 64GB of eMMC storage, Windows 8.1 operating system and Microsoft Office 2013 Home & Student software.

Iconia One 7 is one of the latest tablets from Acer to be launched in Europe. The device has 7 inch display and runs on an Atom processor. It went on sale in Dutch market with a price tag of 149 Euros.

ASUS G550JK is a gaming notebook and belongs to the Republic of Gamers family. For many it is a more compact version of the ‘ ASUS G750 which we have already mentioned in the past. These two laptops have similar specifications, starting with the body dressed in brushed aluminum coating and cleaner and more straightforward design. Asus Transformer Pad TF303CL has been made official and it brings Intel powered computing to the Android operating system. Priced at EUR 582 the Asus Transformer Pad TF303CL features a quad core Atom Z3745 1.33 GHz processor with turbo boost technology, integrated graphics 311MHz-778MHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of flash storage and micro SD card slot that can also be used to expand internal storage.

The screen has aspect ratio of 16:10 and measures 10.1 inches. We have been told that it packs 1920×1200 pixels which means you get full HD resolution on it. Couple that with IPS technology and you have one of the best tablet displays out there.

The Asus Transformer Pad TF303CL also has LTE connectivity so you can remain connected while on the move. So here are its specifications once again at a glance.

Toshiba has released Dynabook Kira L93 a 13 laptop with a unique form factor. It features a mind boggling 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution display that is powered by the very capable of Intel Core i5 4210Y CPU with integrated graphics and 8 GB of RAM. For storage you get a good 128GB SSD.

Of course the highlight of Dynabook Kira L93 is the ability to transform into seven different shapes. For instance you can use it as notebook, tablet, desktop, canvas, flat, tilt and stand.

Microsoft has launched Lumia 630 in myriad countries but not many are talking about its new packaging which is radically different from the typical blue boxes we have seen since launch of Nokia windows phones.

Personally we loved the old blue packaging. However since Nokia was using the same blue color for their feature phones, a change to differentiate the Lumia lineup from Asha was much required. The new box makes use of white color primarily instead of blue and is flatter in shape.

Could it be the first of steps Microsoft has taken to shift the brand recognition from Lumia to Surface?

Xiaomi Mi Pad is a tablet from China that we recently spotted on AnTuTu. Its CPU is supplied by Nvidia and packs a 7.9 inch display featuring 2048×1536 pixels. This translates to 326 pixels per inch.

The Nvidia Tegra K1 runs at 2.2 GHz processor that is backed by 2 GB of main memory. Xiaomi is selling it for USD 272 (1699 Yuan) which is pretty low for what you get. The retina display on a 7.9 inch screen will give you a pixels per inch of 326.

The AnTuTu site shows that the tablet scored 39263 points.

Asus is working on another Lenovo Yoga style convertible laptop called the TL300L. Back in May it was spotted on FCC website and that really did not reveal any of its specifications. Well how we have them and it will have Intel Haswell CPU and Nvidia GPU.

So yes there will be a dedicated GPU to handle all those heavy graphics. Few days back we spotted the Asus TP500L which is basically a 15” version of TP300L. This means the company is all set to release a slew of Yoga style laptops in coming months.

We have spotted the another Transformer laptop tablet hybrid on FCC website. Called the Asus TP500L, the machine will allow you to use the device as both tablet and typical laptop.

The machine will come with a compact power adapter. There is no word how much this 2 in 1 machine will cost. 

Asus is working on a new series of 2 in 1 laptop tablet hybrid models with big displays. Right now the company offers two Transformer Book models that can do the double duty of both laptop and tablet.

Those models let you push the touch screen panel back 360 degrees in such a way that it is back to back with the key board for use in tablet mode. The two models we are talking about are Asus TP300L and 15 incher Asus N542L.
