Apple iPhone SE2 will be released in first half of 2018. This news comes from China’s economic daily news which says that the iPhone SE2 will be manufactured by Wistron factory that is located in Bengaluru India. The current version, iPhone SE is already being manufactured there. This new iPhone SE2 will be shipped in first quarter of 2018. Rumor also says that the next generation iPhone SE2 will don an Apple A10 chipset that is backed by 2GB RAM, 32GB / 128GB eMMC storage, 12 megapixel rear camera, 5MP front camera and 1700mAh battery.
Right now, the iPhone SE has same looks like the iPhone 5S but features a smaller 4” display. It is powered by Apple A9 chipset and has 2GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, Touch ID and even a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apple has not refreshed the iPhone SE ever since it is launched. However, the Cupertino giant did double the storage capacities to 64GB and 128GB back in March. Price was also dropped to 349 dollars few months back.
I really hope Apple does not mess the iPhone SE2. There is a subset of people that like the idea of a smaller and cheaper iPhone. It also gives mid range android phone tough competition.
