Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 can be rooted easily in few minutes.

samsung fold 5 root

All you need is Fold 5 TWRP, a custom recovery. You will need an unlocked boot loader and flashing this will void your warranty as it will trip KNOX. Samsung Pass will also never work again. Certain applications and games from Google Play Store that require play integrity check will also not work.

How to root Samsung Galaxy Fold 5?

Bootloader on your Fold 5 must be unlocked. See Unlocking Bootloader at bottom of this post.
There are 2 USERDATA_AIO files a force wipe and a no wipe one.
The force wipe on must be used on a totally stock rom that has not had encryption removed as formatting of data is required.
If flashing with stock firmware on your Fold 5, use the regular csc with the force wipe userdata aio.
If upgrading firmware and you are already decrypted data then use Home csc with no wipe userdata aio to retain your data.
US and CA users, download of US and CA CSC files and use those instead of ones with stock firmware.
Flash USERDATA_AIO in Userdata slot in odin
Phone must be open to inside screen for TWRP
Phone will automatically reboot to Twrp 3 times
Ignore Errors on Twrp flash screen they are normal
Once phone boots back to TWRP 3nd time and stops choose root method they will be provided as zips on sdcard and flash
Below are zips and folders containing zips that will be preloaded onto internal storage of phone
