Intel Skylake microarchitecture will be launched in 3rd quarter of 2015 and until then the company will be launching new haswell processors to fill the gap. The list includes Core i3 4170, i3 4170T, i3 4370T, Pentium G3260, G3260T, G3460T and G3270. These new processors are 100 MHz faster than their existing Core i3 and Pentium counterparts. Interestingly these Core i3 processors have support for hyper threading technology and most come with either 3MB or 4MB cache.

At the mobile world congress 2015 evnet, Haier launched HaierPad W203 and W800 windows tablets. Both tablets were accompanied by hard cases packing hardware keyboard for faster data input. Display is IPS type in both and offer good color reproduction with decent viewing angles.

Twelve South Book Book for iPhone 6 Plus looks like a book. It comes in choice of black or brown leather and has whopping six of internal pockets inside – one more than the regular iPhone 6 case. One of these pockets can be used to flash your ID when needed.

The Twelve South Book Book case is made of genuine leather. There is a full size pocket which can be used to store receipts, cash and whatnot. In other words, it can replace your wallet.

However it does makes the overall profile very thick and bulky. Others will think why you are carrying a Bible with you the whole time. Twelve South found a solution by allowing user to detach the iPhone 6 Plus from the wallet case and at the same time, adding protection to the back by still keeping it inside a thin shell case.
With a quick slide to the left, the shell lifts completely out – so you can leave your wallet in a locker and take your phone to the treadmill. Carry your iPhone wallet combo when you need it, or just your Shell-covered iPhone when you don’t. This slim shell might fit better in your dashboard clip or on your desktop charging stand.
The base variant of the Apple Macbook 2015 features an Intel Core M 5Y71 processor. This processor is based on Intel Broadwell architecture and is manufactured using 14 nm manufacturing process. This means that it produces very little heat during operation. In fact the TDP a k a thermal design power is mere 4.5 watts. Intel Core M 5Y71 scored 2699 in the passmark benchmark test.
While the processor support up to 16GB of memory, you will not be able to upgrade it since everything is soldered on to the motherboard. They all come with 8GB RAM and there are no RAM options. It’s just basically different SSD and different CPU options.
In the Cinebench R15 (CPU Multi 64Bit) test, it scored 196.5.
In Geek bench 3 it scored 4207.
While both of these scores are not extra ordinary by any means, the Macbook 2015 with Core M 5Y71 is more than enough powerful to handle pretty much any thing a typical Apple user would run on it – Safari, Facebook, Mac App store apps and so on. A tiny bit of Photoshop on this laptop would not slow it down.
Lenovo Y40 and the entry level Lenovo G50-80 will soon be updated with a Radeon R9 M375 and Radeon R5 M330 respectively. The launch of the new AMD graphics cards is closer than expected.
There is massive excitement in the world of graphic cards as Nvidia and AMD both have introduced new models. Nvidia launched GTX 960M GPU last month and AMD launched the new Radeon M300 series. Some companies like Lenovo have already planned upgrading of some notebook models especially for gamers.
Lenovo has updated the data sheet of Lenovo Y40 and G50-80. Both laptops will now use Radeon R9-M375 and M330-R5 respectively. At the moment, no other details on the two notebooks is available.
Information about the new Radeon R5 GPU: It comes equipped with a memory bus to 64 bits and 1 or 2 GB of DDR3 RAM. The Radeon R7 will have the same amount of onboard memory but with the option to choose between DDR3 and GDDR5 versions and with bus 64 or 128 bits.

RaspPi Kiiboard is a keyboard that can do the function of a mini PC. It packs Raspberry Pi 2 inside which is one of the smallest PCs ever built. While the Raspberry Pi 2 has remained a niche product as it requires high degree technical knowledge.

RaspPi Kiiboard on the other hand has all required ports that one would need on a modern computer. You get a full fledge HDMI video output port and two USB ports. The user can decide whether to use the RasPi Killboard as normal keyboard or an all in one computer.
To do this, the designer had to remove the doors from the original PCB of Raspberry because the motherboard does not have available ports on one side and thus he had to rewire all contacts to get them to get up to the bracket which also eliminated the Ethernet LAN because RaspPi Kiiboard only uses Wi-Fi. He was also kind enough to upload a video explaining this grueling process.
The key on the keyboard have a retro look which makes it look very unique. It clearly takes us back to the golden era of the Commodore VIC20, C64 or Amiga.
TrekStor SurfTab 8.0 is an 8 inch tablet that runs Windows 8.1 operating system. First hands on Trekstor SurfTab 8.0 review video is also available courtesy of tabletblog. TrekStor SurfTab 8.0 is a windows 8.1 Intel tablet that features Intel Atom Z3735G quad core processor clocked at 1.83 GHz clock speed. It is current on sale at amazon for around 120 euros. The first impression is quite good, but there are cheaper alternatives.
TrekStor SurfTab 8.0 is not particular exciting but has some good hardware inside. Specifications include 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal flash memory and a micro SD card slot. There is a camera on its back packing 2 megapixel low resolution camera but I do not think it matters on a tablet. In addition to Windows 8.1, you also get a free annual license for Microsoft Office 365 software.
The SurfTab Wintron 8.0 comes with a plastic housing with highly glossy surface. Since the one reviewed was in white, fingerprints were not visible. On the sides, two stereo speakers are present.
While the Wintron has good price – performance ratio, we still find it difficult to recommend it. The reason is that there are better tablet competitors out there whose prices are lower too.
Surfr has a unique ability to charge the iPhone 6 using the solar panel located on the back of the case. As the case has to accommodate the solar cells located at the back, it is a bit bulkier than rest of the iPhone 6 cases out there. If thinness matters to you, you should stop reading this review.

Surfr can receive a charge any time it is in sunlight. However, many factors will affect the performance of the solar panel, such as if there is a window between the panel and sunlight, if it is cloudy, whether or not the panel is angled directly at the sun, etc. Also keep in mind that a solar panel of this size is largely intended for emergency situations, not necessarily as the primary power source for the Surfr.
Also the solar panel on the Surfr cannot directly charge your phone’s battery, instead, it will send its power to the Surfr’s internal battery which you use to charge your phone as needed. The estimated time to fully charge your Surfr for iPhone 6 using the solar panel only is 24 – 34 hours, which is why it’s intended for emergency situations.
Samsung Galaxy S6 makes use of tweaked touch wiz interface and folks at XDA have ported Galaxy S6 theme for the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6. The only requirement is that you need to be on Android 5.0 lollipop in order to install these. You can check it by going to settings > about.

2. Flash this V2 of theme (I adjust Calendar icon) via recovery or unpack manually if you don’t have recovery (uninstall previous version before)
3. Apply Theme from Theme Chooser of Touchwiz
4. Now choose if download Note 4 Launcher S6 Style (smaller icons and menu 5×5) or S5 Launcher S6 Style (bigger icons and menu 4×5)
5. Unpack the one you choose and put in system/priv-app/TouchwizHome (or TouchwizHome_K depends on which device you’re) with correct permissions (rw-r-r)
6. Reboot and Enjoy.
