Windows Phone 8.1.1 Feature List Leaked by Microsoft Employee

A massive feature list for the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1.1 has been leaked by a Microsoft employee on reddit. The employee, microsoftly claims that he works for Microsoft and following features are on their bucket list.

* Interactive live tiles
* Lock screen applications will be built inside core system
* Features in Action Center
* Music controls in Action Center
* More detailed notifications in Action Center
* Dividing line in Action Center
* Application Games to be deleted and replaced with Xbox One application dealing with avatar, messages, remote and other features.
* Name to be decided YouTube application to be built completely with html 5 coding as requested by Google
* Instagram application to have DIRECT MESSAGING and better video uploading capabilities and camera fixes UI for camera to be tweaked with enhanced features from Nokia Camera application
* KIK Messenger to be finished in late June, overhauled design and html 5 support Skype with completely new design.
* Messages in bubbles and chat heads similar to Facebook messenger?
* Facebook messenger to have improved notifications, polished design and new set of fonts along with video chat, calling and improved emoji store
* OneNote to have many new features as Word.
* A possible merger Ability to set WordFlow’s guide line to accent invisible
* Give users choice to have invisible tiles on individual applications
* New lock screen gestures input and other unique, disclosed password input technique options

HTC Butterfly TWRP Download

If you own an HTC Butterfly we have good news for you as TWRP for it has been made available thanks to developers at XDA. Before you proceed the one that is mentioned below works only on the x920D.

Here is how to download and flash the HTC Butterfly TWRP

– Grab the recovery image from here.
– Setup Fastboot tools and drivers.
– Reboot phone to Bootloader mode(pressing Volume down while powering it on and pressing on Bootloader option)
– Run command prompt on your fastboot directory by Holding Shift(keyboard) and pressing right click on your mouse..choose open command window here..
– Issue commands:

fastboot erase cache

– Then after finishing the previous command..

fastboot flash recovery image.image

Asus K01A Specifications, another 7 inch cheap tablet

It is clear that the Taiwanese computer manufacturer ASUS will largely switch to Intel SoCs, for instance in upcoming Memo Pad and Fonepad 7, the company might just use another cheap Intel Atom processor in another 7 inch tablet which was spotted by the name of K01A.

Root Samsung galaxy note 2014 10.1 LTE by auto CF

Here are the instructions on how to root the Samsung galaxy note 2014 10.1 LTE edition

Rooting Instructions for Note 10.1 (2014 edition)

1.Boot into Download mode. Do this by turning Off Tablet. Then, hold Volume Down + Power. Follow the instructions on the screen
2.Flash autorootp600mj4.tar.md5 with Odin v3.09 (put in AP slot, don’t change any other settings, click start)
3.Let it do its trick. Confirm root.
4.Reboot into download mode again and flash the stock mj4 recovery provided

That is it you have finally rooted the Note 2014 tablet. If you followed the steps correctly it should not take more than 30 seconds to root it.  All credits go to Chainfire for coming up with AutoRoot and for his SuperSU App.

Acer Travelmate B115 and Aspire E3-111 Specifications, Fanless and Touchscreen Laptops

Acer Travelmate B115 and Aspire E3-111 are two laptops that the company is working on right now and would be releasing in about a week. Interestingly their specifications have already been leaked by Acer itself on their official website including high resolution pictures.

Folks at notebooksnews were first to discover these two laptops and they say that both will come with similar specifications and the only difference between them is the use of Celeron in E3 and Pentium in B115.

Download Note 3 Neo Stock ROM SM N750 N7505

If you install non-Samsung supported stuff on your phone like TWRP or custom ROMs, you might to go back to Galaxy Note 3 Neo’s stock ROM for some reason, say for warranty purpose.

Guide to download and install Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo stock firmware / ROM easily

First download the official firmware from here (N750) or N7505. You will also need a copy of ODIN that can be downloaded from here.

Extract Firmware zip file that you downloaded earlier from above link. This will give you a .tar.md5 file along with some other files. Extract ODIN too.

Put your Galaxy Note 3 Neo SM-N750 / N7505 in Download Mode by pressing and holding down the Home & Volume Down button together while pressing the Power button.

Start ODIN and connect your phone. Click the AP button and select .tar.md5 file. Make sure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time check boxes are selected.

Download Note 3 Neo Stock ROM SM N750

Click on start button to start flashing process. Wait for it to complete. In the end you will get a pass message which confirms that everything went ok.

Download TWRP CWM for Galaxy Note 3 NEO and Installation instructions

TWRP an alternative to CWM is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo smartphone. The TWRP for Galaxy Note 3 Neo will allow you to install custom firmware, root your phone and a lot of other great things. TWRP stands for Team Win Recovery Project and it is completely open source which is why it is available for so many phones.

Installing process is not as simple as one for Nexus 5.

To install it you will need a copy of ODIN, a desktop application that lets you flash the TWRP on to your phone. Get it from here and put it somewhere, say like your desktop and uncompress it.

Then download the TWRP file from here and put it into the folder of ODIN. Put your Note 3 Neo in download mode (volume down + home button for few seconds together) and connect it to your computer. Start ODIN and select PDA, select the tar file and click Start.
