Google=Big Evil? Another reason, Why you should not rely on Google for everything

Nick Saber, who is the president of CrossTech Media came back from lunch to check his mail and was not able to log in to his Google account. Instead he got a message

Sorry, your account has been disabled.

Finally, when he started loosing temper, he contacted the Google support and this is the reply he got from them

Thank you for your report. We’ve completed our investigation. Because our investigation was inconclusive, we are unable to return your account at this time. At Google we take the privacy and security of our users very seriously. For this reason, we’re unable to reveal any further information about this account.

He was not a free user like us. He even paid for the additional storage :!:

Lesson: Keep that Yahoo/Hotmail account handy in case such scenario arises.

Diamond Beer: Get a Touch Diamond for Beer!

More and more applications have started coming up that make use of the fantastic accelerometer of the HTC Touch Diamond. Now, you can satify yourself with a glass full of beer by using the application “Diamond Beer”.

After you are done with one glass of beer, you can make yourself another one by going to “Menu”>”New Drink”. This great little application is made by Cgeboers, a member of XDA-developer.com

Even though this application has been removed just hours ago, I thought it would well worth mentioning. Well, this application has no genious lines of code but it promises to make you feel idiot unique.

Well, we all thought that the Microsoft would team up with Sony Ericsson to roll out a Windows mobile based ZunePhone. But, that has NOT been the case now.

The latest news is that the Nokia might adopt the Zune marketplace support. This news is not quite shocking as the Steve Ballmer himself once said during an interview “We’re actively seeking partners in the phone business”

WiFi not available on your ASUS EEE PC?

There are many instances when you have installed an OS on your EEE PC(say, windows XP) and your device is unable to even recognize find  the WiFi hardware. It has happened a lot of times with me and I went nuts. It even got me into thinking that it must be just plain bad luck that the unit I got was a bad unit.

But, all what had happened the the WLan(wifi) got disabled on it’s own in the BIOS. Here is how to enable it.
