TWRP for Samsung A52s available for download

If you have been waiting to install custom firmware on your Samsung Galaxy A52s, well, now you will be able to do so. TWRP, a popular custom recovery is now available for the A52s android phone. This opens flood gates for custom ROMs as-well-as unofficial system software.

First, you need to unlock A52s boot loader. For that, follow these steps.

Open the Settings app on Samsung A52s and enter Developer Options. Then, enable OEM unlocking on your Samsung A52s.
To enable Developer Options Samsung A52s, go to About phone -> Software info > tap Build number 10 times to enable it.
Enter Download Mode on Samsung A52s – For that, power off A52s and connect it to a windows computer using an USB cable and hold both volume up and volume down buttons together for few seconds.
Long press volume up on Samsung A52s to unlock the bootloader. This will wipe your data and your phone will automatically reboot.
On your Samsung A52s, skip through all the steps since data will be wiped again later. Make sure to connect the Samsung A52s to Internet during the setup.
Enter Developer Options again on Samsung A52s and check that the OEM unlocking option exists and is grayed out. This means our bootloader is unlocked and your phone has no KnoxGuard lock set.

That is it. Bootloader is now unlocked on the Samsung A52s.

Download Odin3, Samsung’s Android USB Drivers, the latest TWRP’s tar and a disabled vbmeta image – all on your windows computer.
Connect your Samsung A52s phone to windows PC. Now, boot in Download Mode. For this, power off your device and hold both volume up and volume down buttons together for few seconds.
Open Odin3 on your windows computer and select the TWRP tar by clicking the AP button and the patched vbmeta tar by clicking USERDATA. Now, press the Start button to start the flashing process.
Reboot your Samsung A52s phone in recovery mode: while it still plugged in your windows PC. For that, hold both the power and volume up buttons.
Once TWRP has booted you need to format your A52s’ data partition in order to be able to boot in system again. To do this, tap Wipe -> Format Data and follow the instructions shown on Samsung A52s display.
